At ACD Allstar Cheer & Dance Tasmania, we are more than a studio — we are a culture of champions. Built on excellence, connection, and competitive spirit, ACD is a high‑energy community where athletes of all ages discover confidence, belonging, and the joy of movement.
Our programs span Cheer, Hip Hop, Pom, Lyrical, Jazz, and Tumble, each taught through safe, evidence‑based progressions. Whether an athlete is stepping onto the floor for the first time or chasing competitive success, we provide pathways that match every goal, learning style, and level of confidence.
At ACD, athletes don’t just train — they rise, they connect, and they become part of something extraordinary.
Meet the Owners
Allstar Cheer & Dance Tasmania is proudly owned and led by Haylie (Stue) and Raff, who officially took over the gym in 2026. Long‑time members of the ACD family, they bring creativity, passion, and a deep commitment to building a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for every athlete.
Stue has been part of ACD since 2019 and has been dancing since she was 13. She fell in love with Hip Hop at 17, learning through self‑teaching and the support of close friends in a community where Hip Hop opportunities were rare. With a lifelong love for cheer (sparked by Bring It On back in primary school), she brings both heart and experience to the gym. With a strong background in management, 2026 marks her first step into business ownership — and she’s already driving big plans for ACD’s growth, including securing a long‑term home for the club. Stue is excited to connect with every athlete and family as ACD enters this new chapter.
Raff also joined ACD in 2019 and discovered his passion for dance at a young age, inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson. He grew up performing for family and learning through friends, videos, and pure creative curiosity. Raff expresses his artistry through choreography, soundtrack mixing, and drawing, bringing a fun, relaxed, and imaginative energy to the leadership team. Known for his easygoing nature and love of a good chat, Raff is excited to meet more ACD families and help shape the club’s future.
A Shared Vision
Together, Stue and Raff bring a unique combination of creativity, community spirit, and forward‑thinking leadership. Their ownership marks an exciting new chapter for ACD — one built on passion, growth, and a genuine love for the athletes and families who make this community shine.
Their goal is clear:
To honour ACD’s history, elevate its future, and create a space where every athlete feels safe, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.
Our Coaching Philosophy
At ACD, our coaching philosophy is built on purpose, connection, and the belief that every athlete deserves a safe, supportive, and high‑quality environment to grow. We coach with intention — not just to build skills, but to develop confident, resilient, and empowered young people.
Our approach blends technical excellence, athlete wellbeing, and clear, structured progression, ensuring every student learns in a way that is safe, age‑appropriate, and aligned with long‑term development.
We focus on:
-
Strong foundations — teaching correct technique, safe progressions, and disciplined training habits
-
Athlete‑centred coaching — meeting each student where they are and supporting their individual goals
-
Trauma‑aware practice — coaching with empathy, understanding, and emotional intelligence
-
Child‑safe standards — ensuring every athlete feels safe, respected, and protected
-
Intentional progression — building skills step‑by‑step with clarity and purpose
-
High expectations with high support — encouraging athletes to strive for excellence while feeling supported
-
Team culture and connection — creating an environment where athletes feel valued, included, and part of something bigger
-
Performance with purpose — teaching athletes to express, interpret, and perform with intention, not just choreography
Our coaches lead with professionalism, kindness, and consistency. We celebrate progress, not perfection — and we believe that success on the competition floor is the natural outcome of a strong process, a safe environment, and a united team.
At ACD, we don’t just coach routines. We coach people. We coach purpose. We coach for life.
